Stevie Wonder // Brady Chalmers

I hear music like a blind man
every song a prayer
head bowed
eyes shut
meditating
I even dance with my eyes closed
pretend that song and I are alone
let it wrap me up like grandma''s blankets
tuck me in itself
i don't open my eyes much
and when i do it looks like i'm sleeping
i wasn't cut out for vision
my eyes are almonds
slightly tilted on the horizon of my face
they were made for being closed
for music
