Jeremiah Moriarty

Jeremiah Moriarty is a queer Minnesotan farm kid. His writing has appeared most recently in Bad Pony, Figure 1, and Banango Street. His work has also appeared in Cosmonauts Avenue, Juked, NightBlock, The Cortland Review, Wildness, Split Lip, Tammy, Hobart, the Ploughshares blog, and elsewhere. He received his BA in English literature from Carleton College, where he was awarded the Huntington Poetry Prize and became a finalist for The Iowa Review Award in Poetry, and he currently lives in the Twin Cities. His work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and the PEN/Robert J. Dau Prize. In Minneapolis, he previously has worked as an editorial intern for Graywolf Press and as an editorial assistant for Rain Taxi Review of Books.
