Brad Kavo

Brad Kavo is a high school English and film teacher and photographer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who graduated from Penn State with a degree in Secondary Education and a focus on English. He spends his time teaching seventeen-year-olds how to analyze light and bird motifs in Macbeth (again), construct well-organized arguments, and appreciate the beauty of language. His poetry has appeared in various journals, including Ninth Letter, WLA (War, Literature, and the Arts), Lines + Stars, and others.
